Congratulations to Jean on winning 'Best Lady' at Bill Danter's trip to France in September 2006. She had some good partners who helped her on the way!
Roger got his third 'hole in one' (The Epsom 17th) in a Seniors match in March 2006. Fortunately, his match was last in, and there was no time to buy all the players a drink before lunch!
A couple of months later in another Seniors match, he hit the pin on the same hole, the ball resting about a foot from the hole. Lightrning nearly struck twice!
Well played Jean at the Presidents Prize Day in August 2005. She won with a 5 under net par. We were not so successful in the Smitten Cup foursomes for married couples, however, losing a few balls and Jean's 8 Iron, later found in the bushes at the 5th near Roger's wayward drive!
Roger won the October 2003 "Wingco Cup" with his pals in France. Click for the Wingco Site for details.

Roger had the game of his life on Monday 28th October 2002. Playing Gery Kerr in the Lotus Eaters (Seniors) Knock-out quarter final, he shot a gross 78 net 59, a personal course record. The round included chipping in at the 453 yard par four 15th (index1) for a birdie 3. Gerry had shot a net 64 and was disappointed to lose 5 and 4!

In a Saturday friendly game at Epsom on 1st June 2002, Roger had a hole in one on the par three 13th. He was playing with Kyle Kennedy, against Gerry Halls and Brian Dixon. This was his first hole in one at Epsom Golf Club. (He had scored another some ten years ago at Wimbledon Park). To cap that, he birdied the following par four 14th, nine stableford points on two holes!
